Dental Technology - Laser Decay Detector
Washington DC, Maryland, Northern Virginia

Now it’s possible to find and eliminate decay at the earliest possible moment. Our reliable, non-invasive, laser-light gently detects decay hiding in tiny places—before problems can occur.
“Because you can’t treat what you can’t see.”
- Dentists often rely on manual probing with a dental instrument to find decay in a defect in the enamel of the tooth. But fluoride in water has made our enamel harder and more resistant to probing, thus hiding the decay until it drives deeper into the tooth.
- And while X-rays are effective in revealing advanced stages of decay, they are not successful in showing decay in the early stages—especially in the irregular crevices of the biting surface areas.
- That’s important, because at least 80 percent of tooth decay begins in these tiny biting crevices. Cavities often remain undetected until more serious problems develop.
Intra-oral TV
Intra-Oral TV takes a tiny, pen-sized camera right inside your mouth, shedding light on damaged fillings and crowns, gum disease, any budding problems. The video image fills a full-color screen. You’ll see what’s happening the same time we do.
Computerized X-ray
Special sensors, instead of film, use 90 percent less radiation than traditional X-rays. And the image pops up instantly on a TV screen, as large as the TV screen. Now the doctor and patient can see more on X-rays than ever before!
