Dr. Sherman H. Telis

Dr. Sherman Telis has a distinguished reputation as a consummate dental practitioner in the Washington region, with an emphasis on cosmetic dentistry— creating natural, beautiful smiles.

Known for his expertise in putting patients at ease, Dr. Telis specializes in using state-of-the-art computerized technology to provide painless local anesthetic. In addition, he emphasizes tooth-colored restorations, returning teeth to their virgin appearance.

Smile design is an integral part of Dr. Telis’ practice. He is known for his expertise in cosmetic dentistry procedures that include the latest advances in placing crowns, veneers, bridges and implants.

Dr. Telis graduated in 1976 from the Case Western Reserve School of Dentistry, where he also received a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science.

Dr. Telis is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the American Dental Association and the District of Columbia Dental Society. He is also a member of the invitation-only elite “Comprehensive Care Study Club” in Seattle, Washington, with continued membership based on completing master-level courses on advanced dental topics.
