Ellen S. was not happy with the dark lines at the gum line of her crowns. Her old-style crowns were made of a porcelain layer applied on top of a metal base–which starts to show up as a dark line at the gum line. All it took was to replace the older crowns with newer crowns made completely of porcelain . There will never again be a problem with black lines appearing in her smile!
